What’s up y’all! It’s almost that time. Only 3 more weeks to go until Musclemania Worlds in Cali. I am very excited right now because my preparations are going better than ever. I am heavier this year, as my weight is currently 195lbs. It’s hard to say what I will be the day of the show because I am only paying attention to the mirror, and not the scale. I have worked hard in the last year to try and bring up some of my lagging body parts. I feel confident that I have made the best use of my time. Also, having competed last year, I know what mistakes not to make. It’s funny how 12 months of training and eating leads up to one event. If you slacked off at anytime, it will show at contest time. I have done my job, and made sure that I am better this year than last. Win or lose, I am happy with my accomplishment. I know that all the other competitors are fighting for the win, and it can only go to one person. That is obviously up to the judges. I think that’s what makes this sport so much more difficult than others. It’s a 24/7 job. I think big Ronnie said it best “Everybody wants to be a bod ybuilder, but don’t nobody want to lift no heavy ass weight”. If I was to alter this saying, I would say that “don’t nobody want to devote there lives to the cause”. And that’s what it takes, devotion. So I personally extend my respect to all the bodybuilders out there for putting in the work from day to day. With the support of my family, friends, and very special girl, I feel very confident about my chances. So see you in Cali . . . I’m Out!
