Hey Everybody!

Well another Musclemania has come and gone here in Toronto. Although I didn't compete, I had the same feeling leading up to the show. There is nothing like that feeling of anticipation before a contest. It’s as if the stress, the excitement and the carb depletion all mix into this powerful feeling. I wanted to be on stage soaking up the attention, but it was my time to lie in the shadows. I have sacrificed glory at MM Canada’s to try and attain success at MM Worlds. I want to be at the top of my game when I come to Cali in November. Although it will be at a different venue this year, I have a mental picture of the stage and the pump-up room. I think about that every time I feel that I have punished myself enough at the gym. If I was to think of a single word to sum up my workouts now, it would have to be RAUNCHY. I use that word because they are obscene. I am training with my brother now and you know how brothers are. I’d rather pass out then have him beat me. Right now I am just under 220 lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever been, and I’m still pretty lean. I’m not shredded but I have abs. I am actually looking forward to dieting and training for the Worlds. I think my focus was on a lot of different things last year, but the time off has allowed me to put things into perspective. My head is a lot clearer. I will be going back to Jamaica just before I start dieting in August. I’ll eat some home cooking and relax with the family, but when I get back, it’s go time! I really want to succeed in bodybuilding, and am working toward my future. I’m also still young, so I hope that with time my physique will continue to improve year by year. As for my diet right now, it goes a little something like this:

16 Egg Whites and a cup of Oatmeal.

5 oz. Chicken Breast and a cup of Rice with Olive oil.

5 oz. Chicken Breast and a cup of Rice with Olive oil.

5 oz. Chicken Breast and a baked Potato.

Meal Replacement Shake with an extra scoop of Whey.

8 Egg Whites and a scoop of Whey Protein.

Pretty exciting! I know. I really don’t like eating. I find it a waste of time and only do it because I have to. If I am out and feel for Burger King right now though, I just eat it with no guilt. I try to stick to this, but will probably cheat a few times through the week. I hope that gives you guys an insight into what I do. I’d like to give a shout out to all my boys at home. Without support, everything is just that much harder. So peace out, and keep it real.

I'm out,

Kurt Tomlinson
