Hello Bodybuilding fans! It is now 2005, and with a new year comes new goals. Yet for me, my goals continue to be the same. I still want to improve each time that I compete. I am now starting to feel more comfortable as a competitor. I feel that I went up against the best at the World’s, and want to continue to test myself against top notch bodybuilders. At 26 years old, I am still young. I feel that I have a good career ahead of me, in and out, of bodybuilding.

Recently, I have been continuing to stick with heavy compound movements. Also, there are some things that I will be doing differently from now on. First of all, I am going to start doing abs. I had never done abs in the past because I didn’t think I had to. That will now change. Second, I will continue to drink water right up to about 4 hours before the show. Water is a big part of the muscle, and when I cut it early, I feel that I go flat. And third, I’m done with carb depleting and carb loading. If I look good two weeks out, I see no need to change what I’m doing. I will just have a little extra carbs in the few days before the show. Other than that, I’m just going to keep it “simple stupid”. I’ve got this far with hard work and dedication, and in time I will hit my peak. Until then, I will just keep improving and keep learning. I always strive to be the best at whatever I do, so you can be sure that I will be training hard. So, for 2005, my goal is to get better. My first show will be South Beach in April, then Superbody in June and New York in August. Yeah, I am competing a lot this year.

I hope that you have a prosperous new year, and achieve your goals in ‘05. Remember, the only one stopping you from achieving your dream….. is you. Feel free to hit me on my email. I’ll holla back at you. Take care.

Yours Truly,
Kurt Tomlinson
