Whew, I know it has been a while. I must apologize. As I said before, my focus has been on getting myself a secure job with a nice wage. FINALLY that has happened. I know work for Homeland Security with U.S. Customs. The long hard work paid off. No more driving the trucks!!! Other than that I have been training hard. Unfortunately I have to go away for a military type training in GA soon. That will most likely make me lose some muscle mass as we will be doing a LOT of running. I will do my best to maintain my muscle mass there with LOTS of protein shakes. LOTS!!!. Hey Lou, send some to me. Meal replacements!!!! I will also be forced to miss the Musclemania Atlantic. I really like that show and all my best to the competitors. I will definitely be there for 07'. I will be at the Pittsburgh show. Hopefully not to late as I graduate the day before. Look forward to Pittsburgh as always. Great EXPO and lots of fun for the whole family. Other than finally getting a real job, I have also been building a jeep. I am a very big car guy and love SPIKE TV. I have been building a 91 Jeep Wrangler to have some fun in the summer. As well, making me go broke, lol. I am going to pass along some new things I have been learning with training though. As we get older we must train different. The young guys will not understand yet, and I never did at my young age. Getting older requires you to save your body a bit more, IE your joints. I started moving my rep range around. Once every month to month in a half I started doing 500. Meaning 10 sets for 50 reps each. Pyramiding up and down to reach failure at 50. Talk about serious PAIN. A friend showed me this, KENNY!! He also showed me on the other days he has been using 20,15,10,20 for reps per exercise. It has given me some seriously sore days. Also gives new meaning to hardcore. I HATE reps. Mainly due to the pain and focus you must have to obtain true failure with reps. The other good part to this is I only have to pick out 2-3 exercises. I still maintain 8-12 sets per body part.
Give it a try for a month and see how it works for you. It has been working wonders for me. I will try to write while I am in training and send some pictures of things that are cleared. Hope everyone is healthy both mind and body. Feel free to email if you have any questions on the training or just to say hi.
Respect & Love
