Hello Musclemania,

Well, the Musclemania World is over. First off, I am glad to be back in the swing of things. It had been three years since I last stepped foot on stage. And man, it felt good to be back up under the lights; yet, I cannot say I felt comfortable.

I felt like my posing and my conditioning was a little off. So of course my confidence on stage was not like usual. This was the first time since I started competing that I did not peak at all. From the time I landed in California, throughout the whole contest, and the days after the contest, I never peaked. For the first couple of day when I arrived back home I banged my head against the wall to figured out what I did wrong.

Well after running through the list of thing in my head (did I diet long enough, did I cut my carbs to soon, did I not carb up right, etc…), I decided to just leave it behind me and move on. I jumped right back on my diet and into the gym right away. I plan to stay very lean year around this time, so I can chart my progress better. I have not set any plans for the upcoming year, but I am ready to get back at it soon.

I will be keeping a log of my progress after the New Year (where I start in body fat, stats, and workout). See you soon.

God bless,
Carey Addison
