Hello to all you fans out there.
Hmmm were should i start, first off i want
to thank God for he has blessed me in so many ways and i am
very humble and grateful for that. My first Pro show W-O-W,
what an experience. I came to Miami mentally and physically
prepared to do battle, my main goal was to present a complete
and classic physic for all to see.
I must say that i am honored to be the Superbody
Pro Champion. I'll do my best to be a great ambassador and
represent our sport to the highest level. I want to thank
everyone who expressed their happiness for me. Personally
i had a great time in Miami, there were so many beautiful
people. I met lots of competitors and fans and everyone seems
to be having a good time. I was hanging out with my boys Jamel
and Denis we had a blast. I got a chance to check out some
of the other events and i must say that Musclemania did a
good job organizing the whole event.
I would like to comment on one
issue regarding the show. I heard about a few guys complaining
about the judging criteria. I personally think a few guys
like Denis and Grant should have placed higher but hey that's
my opinion. We should understand that we never get to see
ourselves on stage. The judges get the best view of everyone
and they did there best judging everybody. My take on the
whole issue is that some guys should work on dieting more
and learn how to dry out for a show instead of trying to find
excuses for there poor outings. These guys always have excuses
for there lack of hard work, you hear it all the time, it's
politics, it's the judges, it's the stage, etc. It's never
them not dieting enough or getting rid of their water retention,
come on guys it's time to look within yourself for answers.
I think Musclemania did a good job putting together a great
event and to hear a few guys whining and complaining just
takes away from a beautiful event. I would like to thank all
competitors for competing and congratulate all winners.
Right now I'm working on several shoots for
three different magazines. I also started my own personal
celebrity training company, which focuses on training celebrities.
I just signed a major celebrity to my company and I'm talking
to a few others. I will be on tour with my client for three
months so if i don't answer to your emails right away please
understand that I'm outta town. I also don't know when I'll
be competing next but I'll keep everyone posted on that .
. . but Cali is already sounding awfully cools with me. I'm
in the process of building my company and branching into the
whole entertainment field. For me bodybuilding is fun and
i will always be a bodybuilder but my goals are way bigger
than bodybuilding, i just want to promote and educate the
public about the benefits of training and nutrition.
It's time to send out some shout outs, first
off i want to thank my wonderful girlfriend Rita for her love
and support, without her i couldn't have done the show. Thanks
for putting up with me and all my posing around the house.
Big shout out to my boy Jamel Keels for being so positive.
You're getting better everyday, keep up the good work. Shout
out my homegirls Alicia Denson and Rebecca Lee for helping
me with my routine and Alicia keep doing your thing girl.
To Denis Coprie you're the coolest guy ever. To Grant Johnson
i love your routine and keep your head up bro. To big Erine
Richards you're a true gentleman. To Hugh Ross thanks for
all the tips, it really paid off. Big shout out to my boy
Kenny Santiago hope all is going well in Cali. To Anthony
Villacci thanks for coming out to support the show. Shout
out to Carey Adison for coming out too. To Dion Benjamin hope
to see you on stage again. To Matt Sterling you have a great
future ahead of you. To Janelle thanks for all the support,
see you in November. Big shout out to Lou Zwick and the whole
Musclemania crew for giving me a platform to showcase my talent.
Last but not least to all my fans and everybody who's supported
and believed in me from day one. This victory is not for me
but for you all. To anyone i forgot don't be mad at me, I'll
get you on the next column.
Peace and love all,
Ulisses
